The Gas Hub is the place to go for all you need to know about natural gas. They are a division of Powerco set up to help educate the general public about the benefits of Natural Gas, which includes warmer, healthier homes. They provide independent, unbiased information on all things to do with natural gas so the general public can make informed decisions when choosing the right energy mix.

What we do for them:

MSO helped formulate the new brand and looked at strategies to apply to online and print campaigns. This included the strategy and interface design for The Gas Hub website, online graphics and illustrations, internal and external communication documents, interior signage for offices and marketing material for both Powerco and The Gas Hub.

What they have to say about MSO:

Everyone at MSO has been amazing to work with. They really go the extra mile, and when needed will work at all hours to meet deadlines. They have provided us with a lot of support and have made the transition to a new brand an enjoyable experience.

The project was developed and evolved over the four year period culminating in the stunning FREE displays that were a feature on the Taranaki Street Wharf, Wellington, Britomart in Auckland and part of the Red Zone in the city centre of Christchurch. The requirement was for an environmental gallery for the enjoyment of the general public and rugby fans to coincide with the biggest sporting event New Zealand has ever seen.

Smart Energy Limited is an independent New Zealand company made up of an energetic team which thrives on the challenge presented by current and potential opportunities for renewable energy technologies. To the New Zealand domestic market, Smart Energy offers turnkey solutions for off-grid and grid-connect on site power generation systems, customised design of solar hot water and non-electric based central heating systems.

What we do for them:

Smart Engery was set up in 2006 with an eye on the future. They approached MSO Design to help them develop a brand that would complement their business philosophies and help communicate their services in a clear and concise way. Part of the application of this was vehicle signage. Because of MSO's longevity we have built strong relationships in and around Wellington. Having these relationships means that our designers can work hand in hand with sign writers to get vehicle graphics looking and communicating fantastically on your car or van. Having the designer work with the sign writer means the branding is consistent and special attention and consideration is given to this very specific medium.

Wellington City Council (elected) is made up of the Mayor and 14 Councillors. They are responsible for determining local legislation and defining the overall vision for the city. They see Wellington as a vibrant city with a thriving cultural life, talented people, and cutting-edge businesses. Known as the Arts and Events Capital of New Zealand, the city has an abundance of recreation and leisure opportunities. It is also a compact city with a dramatic landscape and sound infrastructure. Wellington City Council wants to capitalise on these competitive advantages to help achieve economic growth, greater prosperity and an improved quality of life for all Wellingtonians.

What we do for them:

MSO has had an ongoing relationship with WCC for the past nine years and work both in collaboration with the WCC in-house team and independently of various projects throughout the year. The main focus for the MSO team are events related collateral as well as forms and consultation material for public feedback. For the last two years we have worked on collateral for the annual Matariki celebrations, creating a beautiful dreamscape for Maori New Year.

What they have to say about MSO:

We appreciate working with MSO, they always go the extra mile for us, and their prices are really competitive. They understand our sometimes complex Brand requirements and turn work around really fast, on often very tight budgets and deadlines. Nothing is ever a problem. We love them — especially Kellie and Mark!

Since 1927 Wellington Free Ambulance, New Zealand's only free metropolitan ambulance service, has been the sole emergency ambulance provider for the people of greater Wellington. As an essential service provider for the community, Wellington Free Ambulance is committed to providing the highest quality clinical care in emergency situations, pre-hospital care, rescue & patient transport services - and all at no cost to the patient. Wellington Free Ambulance assists more than 50,000 people in the greater Wellington region each year - an average of more than 136 people per day, and about one in every eight people living in this area that need our help annually.

What we do for them:

Wellington Free Ambulance has had an enduring and successful relationship with MSO since 2008 and in that time has helped consolidate their branding and apply it to many communications. One of the most exciting was rebinding the outside of its Central Office on Kent Terrace. There is no job too big or too small for MSO so when Ross from Wellington Free Ambulance approached us with this opportunity we came up with a solution that is both within keeping with their branding but is also dynamic and eye catching. Plans have been made to apply this style to the other locations within the Wellington area.
